Please review these instructions before creating and submitting batches.
WELCOME TO THE CGS BUYLIST!
Here's how you get started with submitting whatever you would like to sell:
First, you would need to create an account before being able to create any batches. First click the "Account" button, then from there you may fill your first name, last name, email address, and password to set to your account. From there, you will be directed to your seller profile. On your profile, you can see your invoice history, aswell as the option to fill your shipping address, city, province, and postal code. This info can be used to automatically fill the prepaid shipping label field in batches, if its set on your profile.
Now, for the ways of selling your stuff.
The first way you can sell is to browse through either my "Buylist" section. This shows all the current games, consoles, acessories, and handhelds that I am currently offering the most competitive/higher on.
Or the "non-buylist" section. These are for all other games, consoles, and acessories not part of my buylist that I am willing to take in and accept in batches, but are not offering as high on, with my %'s shown for what I can pay out accordingly.
There is also the "Collection Quote" section. This allows you to paste in a PriceCharting collection link or profile. From there, it will make my buylist and non-buylist offers accordingly for the games on it.
PLEASE NOTE: Please make sure to remove any consoles, acessories, or handhelds from the pricecharting collection prior to putting it through the quote. PriceCharting always seems to have discrepencies for these types of items with the way they are listed, so please only manually enter those either through the buylist or non-buylist accordingly.
You will also see a skipped items section when seeing the result of the quote. Most likely, its for either items that aren't a game, acessory, or handheld, or is something that cannot be accepted. It can also sometimes skip things by mistake. If the skipped items are excessive, feel free to reach out to me, and I can let you know how those can be handled for the batch.
Now, all you do to add things to your quote cart is to pull up the game in either the buylist or non-buylist you would like to sell, select the condition, and quantity you would like to sell, and then it gets added to the quote cart.
For collection quotes. you will be given a prompt to be able to automatically add things to the cart from your collection.
Once you have finished filling your cart, you may click the "Review Batch Before Submit" button. From there, it will show your total to be paid out, and various other fields.
You will be able to fill your phone number, payment method, the email to be used for payment, and the prepaid shipping label request info.
If we have made specific arrangements for local pickup/drop off prior, you may skip the prepaid shipping field.
With regards to payment, the methods I offer are as follows:
Interact E-Transfer (Upon Receipt) - I will issue you the final payout for your batch once we have finished the receieving process. You will be able to track the progress of your batch through your invoice history on your profile, and see once it is ready for payment, and also you will be contacting once payment is ready for your batch.
PayPal Friends And Family (Upon Receipt) - Same rules as interact upon receipt. Just would be done through PayPal Friends and Family. There are no fees for this method through paypal.
PayPal Goods and Service (Upfront, once batch is approved) - I will issue you payment once your batch is submitted, and is approved/has the prepaid shipping label provided. Through this payment method, you would need to cover the fees that paypal charges the seller for this method (Which is usually around 3 - 4%ish if I recall)
Interact E-Transfer (Upfront, once batch is approved, and are an established seller) - Same type of rules as the paypal upfront payment. You would not get charged any fees since it is an etransfer payment. However, you can only have this option avaliable if you are an established seller. Meaning if you had done atleast 3 sucessful batches with me, with all deduction balances paid off accoordingly, you will have this option avaliable. Otherwise, you will need to wait until you meet the requirements listed accoridngly to have this avaliable.
With regards to our timeline for everything. We typically make sure to get batches recievied and fully processed within 1 - 3 business days of delivery. This timeline varies and can either be longer, or shorter depending on the size. If you were paid upfront, then you would be notified once your batch was recieved and processed, and if there were any issues that needs to be sorted out. If you were supposed to be paid upon receipt, then you will be notified once your batch was recieved and processed, and any deductions that may have came up with the balance.
Please keep in mind that our business only operates Monday to Friday. We typically don't do any recieving of batches during the weekends or federal holidays.
I try my best to be as lenient as I can when it comes to giving deductions for any batch as I understand that these are used goods being dealt with at the end of the day, and that it isn't a fun process to go through at all. However, I still expect product being sent to be in saleable condition per my guidelines written.
CONDITION GUIDELINES:
PLEASE NOTE:
ALL BATCHES MUST ARRIVE ODOR AND BUG FREE. If any batch shows up either smelling of ciggerettes or some sort of other strong odor, and/or has bugs spotted, it will be rejected, not given any value, and will be returned back to you at your expense. If it was a batch that was had a local pickup/drop off arrangement made, arrangements must be made for you to pick back up your stuff accordingly. If these types of batches aren't able to be returned, they will be deemed forfeitted and disposed of, as I cannot keep those stored within my facility.
For batches shipped in: if box(s) arrive popped open, and contents are exposed, those will be returned to sender through the carrier at your expense, and given $0 value. As a general rule of thumb, its always reccomended to keep each box in a shipment to be a max of 60 LBS each, and to make sure that the box is in good condition before packing it with the contents.
For all games:
Cased = Disc, original artwork, and case. Manual is not needed for offers with this condition.
CIB = Disc, Original Artwork, case, and manual.
Loose = Disc or Cartridge only.
New = Brand new, sealed condition.
Case artwork must not have excessive water-damage, mold, or wear. Cartridge labels must be in atleast 8/10 condition, with limited discolouring/sunfading, and little to no physical damage on the cartridge.
For Consoles:
All offers listed for consoles are for the console only with no cables or controllers needed for the offer listed (Unless specifically stated otherwise in the item listed). Any cables, or controller I can take in are listed with seperate offers within the "Controllers/Acessories" section, and can be added seperately.
Any missing/dirty console slot covers, non-factory reset consoles, medium - light scratching/surface scratching, dirt/grime on console that does not affect functionality, I do not deduct for, and can be sold under the "Tested/Works" option provided.
However any excessive physical wear/damage, discoloration, functional issues (With NES Consoles being the only exception to this rule as I have listed for those items offering. they can be assigned to the tested/works value), those would be switched over to the "Not Working" value I have listed.
I do also offer to buy consoles as "untested", however keep in mind that you will be given $0 in value for them upfront (Regardless of established seller status), and only will be assigned to either the tested or not working value after receving/testing has been completed for the batch. You would be paid out and accounted for those ones from there.
For Handhelds:
Chargers aren't needed unless specifically mentioned otherwise for the specific handheld listed. The shell on the outside of the system can show light wear, however screen(s) must have little to no scratching. Deductions will apply for excessive wear or functional issues.
Controllers and Acessories:
All offers listed for controllers and acessories are for OEM original branded items only (unless its specifically states for that item that I can take it in otherwise). Third party controllers/acessories are given $0 value and get thrown away/donated, or can be returned at your expense.
Controllers and Acessories must be in good working condition, with little to no excessive physical wear/damage, discoloration. Any controllers with exposed wires, cracks, missing sticks/buttons, excessive damage on the rubber stick covers, stick drift, and in overall not-working condition will be subject to a deduction of upto 90%.
I do not deduct for missing battery covers on majority of controller/acessory offerings, breakaway cables, moderate wear on controller rubber sticks, and some dirt/grime on controllers.
Just to clarify with regards to how my offers for the Xbox 360 Controllers are, they are as follows:
Xbox 360 Controller Very Good = Little to no damage on the rubber stick covers, and includes a battery cover in working condition.
Xbox 360 Controller 1 DEDUCT = Either the controller has damage/major wear to one or more of the sticks, OR is missing the battery cover. Only has one out of these two issues.
Xbox 360 Controller 2 DEDUCT = The controller has BOTH damage/major wear to one or more of the sticks, and a missing battery cover.
Cables that arrive in tangled up, dirty, or damaged condition will not be accepted and given $0 value. Cables are expected to arrive in neat condition, that aren't excessively dirty. Rubber banded would be the best way, but just as long as they are each nice and tied up accordingly.
Any third party non-oem power supplies and cables would not be accepted.
